How to add cinebars in photoshop and premiere pro | Cinebars explained

               WHAT ARE CINEBARS

Cinebars are the black crop bars which we can see at the bottom and top of the videos especially in cinemas .By adding cinebars (which i will explain after sometime) we can get a beautiful cinematic look to our videos.We can also add cinematic black bars in photoshop easily.
Now a days cinematic black bars are becoming very famous.They are used by many youtubers for their videos and used in short films etc..

                 WHY CINEBARS

Because the image of these movies is wider than a widescreen TV, your home theater places black bars on the top and bottom of the screen. Most widescreen DVDs on the market will not fill the entire screen on your TV because they have been recorded in an aspect ratio that is different from your TV's

              ADD CINEBARS IN PREMIERE PRO CC

Hey Iam gonna show you guys how to add cinebars in premiere pro , use can use this same method in CS series and CC series (no change)

step 1 :  Add and drag an adjustment  layer if you want to add cinebars into you whole video (it save a lot of time) .
Create adjustment layer by going to project panel > rightclick > new item > adjustment layer.

step 2 : Now go to the effects panel and search for an effect name 'crop' and drag it into the adjustment layer or to the clip which needs to be crops.

step 3 :Now go to effects control panel and find and under the crop option and change the value of 'top' from 0 to 11.5 (depend upon your choice) and change the value of 'bottom' from 0 to 11.5 (depending upon your choice).

step 4 : Boom !!!!  Now you got that awesome looking cinebars which will help your videos to get that awesome cinematic look ,Now export and enjoy your videos....Best of luck..

                   ADD CINEBARS IN PHOTOSHOP

Hey Iam gonna show you guys how to add cinebars in photoshop , use can use this same method in CS series and CC series (no change).

step 1 :Using rectangular marquee tool select the portion where you don't what the cinebars (black crop).

step 2 : Then go to select>inverse or use shift+ctrl+i for shortout.

step 3 : Now go to adjustment layer then solid color and select black color.After that deselect the select.

step 4 : Boom !!!!  Now you got that awesome looking cinebars which will help your photos to get that awesome cinematic look ,Now export and enjoy yourphotos ....Best of luck..
