Pros & Cons Of Asus VivoBook - F571GD-BQ368T Laptop
( *I did not ever used this laptop a I reviewed this laptop by collecting information from different websites and from different videos and here i will list some pros and cons about this laptops from peoples who have used this laptops.)
Pros:
1. Specifications are as mentioned in the product description.
2. You feel a bit faster because of SSD of 512GB (5-8 sec of booting time)
.
3. 8GB of RAM with 32GB of Intel Optane memory and nvidia GEFORCE GTX1050 are more than enough for powerful tasks and I am getting good frame rates in PUBG lite but you have to play PUBG(pc edition) with low/medium settings to enjoy game.
Call of Duty is running very smoothly.
4. 15.6" Full HD display gives a flawless display and have good viewing experience.
5. Metal finishing of the laptop body gives premium look.
6. Backlit keyboard for typing in dark areas.
7. A fingerprint sensor to unlock your computer.
8. A 2.5" SATA expansion slot is also given for upgrade of storage upto 2TB HDD.
9. Provided with intel i5 9th Gen processor which is good for multitasking and with Intel Optane memory you can add PS, Premier like softwares so you can use and load faster.
10.Good cooling system for the ventilation of internal components.
11.Charging Speed is quite good and fast and gives battery backup upto 5-6hours for normal users.
Cons:
1. Out of 512GB of SSD, only 476GB is usable.(try to use external hard disk).
2. Body of laptop holds oil strains ( keep your hands clean and dry before handling).(try to apply any laptop skin but finding a skin became hard as it is new to market so i used a local bike wrap material )
3. For gamers Battery backup isn't good , gaming without charger connected gives only 40-60 minutes of usage.(for me it isn't much a problem as I play games once in awhile).
Review By A buyer
1) Warranty:
Registered on myAsus. Got warranty for a year.
2) Performance:
This is where the laptop scores over the rest. Probably, one of the best if not the best in this price range.
Boots in around 3 seconds.
Had reinstalled windows on this laptop and it was pretty fast compared to the other laptops I have had done so.
3) Battery:
Pathetic. doubt i am even getting 150 minutes on battery. The only software installed is office and mcafee.
power mode set to better battery (4 options battery saver, better battery, better performance, best performance)
tru2Life set to off
If anyone has bought F571 series laptop, please do comment on battery.
4) wifi on battery:
wifi was disconnecting on battery. Power settings for wifi were set to low, changed it to max. Also, unchecked the "Allow the computer to turn of this device to save power" for wifi adapter.
5) Hard Disk:
476 GB size of hard disk. 436 GB available when the laptop was booted the first time.
6) Installed windows app "intel optane memory and storage management". The app gives a better control on optane memory(disable, run in different modes, linking it to different disks etc.)
7) Speaker:
Most found it to be less on similar Asus laptops, however, i find it to be decent.
8) Screen:
Average screen. Nothing l extraordinary about it.
9) Nice finish overall. Prone to smudges though.
10) Have not used it for gaming so can't comment on graphics card.
